In May 2020 in Austin, Texas, Alyssa's and Dylan's lives forever changed. It was a mid-afternoon coffee date at Mozart's on Lake Austin. And Dylan yelled hi the moment he saw Alyssa. (For those who know Dylan, this is not surprising.) The date went on for several hours after that, without a single moment of silence. The connection was (and continues to be) undeniable.

The relationship quickly progressed from there. Dylan and Alyssa spent more and more time together. Alyssa met Dylan's parents and Cali (Dylan's English Bulldog), and Dylan met Maddox and Alyssa's family. Then, in August 2020--on a balcony in Rosemary Beach, Florida--Dylan and Alyssa exchanged their first I love yous.

In December 2020, Dylan and Alyssa moved to Dallas. They quickly found a community at a new gym in town, Mvement, and at Dylan's work, Winston & Strawn. And they embraced Dallas, taking advantage of all of the city's culinary and cultural offerings. But the love for Austin remains. To be sure, most weekends, you will catch Dylan and Alyssa at either Horseshoe Bay or at a Texas Longhorns football game. (Hook 'Em!)

And that is exactly where Dylan and Alyssa were in February 2024. But this trip was different. After a whirlwind day reliving their first three dates, Dylan proposed to Alyssa in a secluded greenhouse on the eastside of the city. Alyssa put on Dylan's great grandmother's wedding ring (which was a little big for her admittedly tiny fingers), and the rest is history. It is a memory neither of them will ever forget.

They look forward to the future and appreciate all the friends and loved ones who will join them to celebrate this June.
